My Metrics

Personal billability over a chosen period. The table shows your logged hours, your billable hours, and the percentages that compare them against expected capacity.

Selecting a period

Five named periods plus a custom range:

  • Week — ISO week. Pick the week from the dropdown.
  • Month — calendar month.
  • Quarter — Q1 / Q2 / Q3 / Q4.
  • Year — full year (Jan 1 – Dec 31).
  • YTD — January 1 through yesterday. The current month is pro-rated to yesterday so the percentages aren't deflated by days that haven't happened yet.
  • Custom — pick a From and To date.

Looking at the current period (this week / this month) often looks underwhelming because capacity is counted for the whole period including future days. End of period numbers stabilise as days roll in.

What each column means

ColumnDefinition
Total hrsEvery logged WFM entry: worked time + paid absences (vacation, sick leave, public holidays you logged).
Billable hrsHours flagged billable in WFM, plus the billable-ops-task overrides set in Capacity Influencer. Absence entries excluded.
Engagement hrsWorking days (Mon–Fri) × 8 h × FTE %. Public holidays are not subtracted here.
Public Holiday hrsZurich public holidays falling on Mon–Fri × 8 h × FTE %.
Absence hrsVacation / sick / military / Zivildienst (etc.) entries you logged in WFM.
Total CapacityEngagement − Public Holiday − Absence. The hours actually available for client work.
Consulting CapacityTotal Capacity × 90 % (employee) or × 70 % (manager), minus any Capacity Influencer rules.

And the percentage columns:

When numbers look wrong

The most common surprises:

  • Billable % low — check whether internal / ops tasks should be flagged billable. A manager can add a per-task override in Capacity Influencer → Billable ops tasks.
  • Capacity off — you may have an FTE history change recorded by an admin in Staff Admin → FTE history. Look there to see what FTE applies for the period.
  • Logged < expected — confirm absence days were logged (otherwise capacity stays high but logged stays low → red).
